"They asked me what I wanted to be. I said happy. They said you don't understand the assignment. I said you don't understand life." -John Lennon.
I'm sorry
[edit]When I replied, "Race and IQ */ Reply".
I didn't realize you had made the topic. I thought it was a topic, originally, to change those references in the article.
The article still references Richard Lynn's work even though there are calls to retract his racist eugenic work in journals,[1] months ago, the wiki article didn't, in my opinion, give enough context to his flawed work and his proud avowed Racism.
My statement was not aimed at you but at the subject because previously the article did use race terms pretty heavily because Richard Lynn's work uses race terms (incorrectly, I might add). Normally, Wikipedia uses article talk pages to reach consensus on removal/change of contentious material like that and I was making that comment with that in my mind because I was worried that either race based elements hadn't been removed or had been put back in.
In closing, I'm sorry if I came off as to attack, incite, or attempting to belittle your very real objections to the subject. RCSCott91 (talk) 16:53, 19 September 2024 (UTC)
- No problem, I also apologize if I came across hostile as well. I think there was a bit of misunderstanding between us, but I did not find what you said insulting at all. I believe it sounds like we are both coming from the exact same place in regards to our concern for the article, so I am happy to work with you going forward. Blocked
[edit]Confirmed to Coldstone Steve Boston. --Yamla (talk) 12:22, 21 September 2024 (UTC)
Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

- Hello Yamla, I submitted a review, I would like to know exactly what I did that is considered abusive, as I did not see anything listed on the abusive page. Am I not allowed to create a new account if another account of mine was banned? I did not edit the same pages etc, I followed the clean start rule. Jacob Yaltov (talk) 15:10, 21 September 2024 (UTC)

Your reason here: I did not use this account abusively
Decline reason:
What you're describing here is block evasion. If you honestly believe you did nothing wrong, then that is compelling reason not to unblock you. Sir Sputnik (talk) 16:34, 21 September 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- My previous account was banned for supposedly being a sock puppet of another user, so I created a new account. However, I have looked at the page in regard to being abusive, and I have committed zero abusive actions. I did not even edit the same pages etc. I would like my account reinstated and would like an explanation of why I was accused of being abusive. Jacob Yaltov (talk) 15:09, 21 September 2024 (UTC)
Hello Sputnik, I was under the impression that I could make a new account if a previous had been blocked, if I followed the rules of clean start, my IP block had expired by the point I signed up for a new account. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jacob Yaltov (talk • contribs) 19:59, 21 September 2024 (UTC)
- I'm afraid you misunderstood. A "clean start" is not available to a blocked editor, and no, you are not allowed to create a new account to avoid the effect of a block. The only acceptable way to return to editing is through an unblock request for your original account. You should also bear in mind that the more often you evade the block on your original account, the less likely it will become that you will ever be unblocked.
