Hello, Jackrenaud33, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Article Vetting

[edit]

Here are my thoughts on your 5 article choices for this project, Jack:

Gerry Lopez: - This article needs a lot of work and has stalled, so it could be a good fit. It is on a living person, though, so you will have to take extra care when conducting any research.

Peahi, Hawaii: - Since this is a stub, the amount of content needed may be too challenging. You will also need to determine this article's purpose in order to guide the direction of your editing, should you choose it.

Skateboarder (magazine): - This could be a good fit for the project, particularly since it's been flagged for research issues and only consists of one section.

Surfboard shaper: - This seems like a great fit, since it's been flagged for so many issues.

Z-Boys: - Also a great fit due to being flagged.

Overall: I think the Z-Boys and Surfboard shaper articles would be the best fit for this project, particularly if you already have some ideas on how to edit them. Happy to chat further on any of these articles if you have questions. Spike Mugiwara (talk) 16:50, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
