Death 'n' Roll article

[edit]

Greetings... You should visit the Death 'n' Roll talk page sometime soon. I posted I reply to your comments under the "Tarnishing the good name of Death Metal" section. Musicaindustrial (talk) 02:11, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Removing your comments on several talk pages

[edit]

I have a small question for you. Why are you removing your comments on several talk pages, you can only do so here on your talk page -unless theres something I don't know about. −₪ÇɨгcaғucɨҲ₪ kaiden 23:57, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's too bad. I didn't know you were quitting. I just saw you on here a few weeks ago and I expected you to stay for awhile. I too am tired of wiki sometimes, but I mostly grin and bear it and try to get by the best I can. I've had hard times at the start and still hard times now (though it has slowed down) but I get through anyway. And just another thing I used to be a vandal like you were too, but I shouldn't say this so strongly for others to see and over a few days I converted into an editor mostly editing obscure stuff and trying to keep from the "mainstream" articles. I'm not too sure if you can remove all your comments since things are better archived on article talk pages. So too bad things didn't go well for you, I hope things off the wiki are going better for you after you leave. −₪ÇɨгcaғucɨҲ₪ kaiden 00:23, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Talk:The Mechanix

[edit]

I reverted the self-deletion of your post on Talk:The Mechanix, but I messed up the link in my edit summary. I'm posting here to make good on that explanation. I meant to direct you to WP:Talk#Own_comments for suggestions on what to do with your post on that page (I think it would be best if you simply left it there; it's useful info for that article). Unforunately, I now see that this is part of your larger effort to quit wikipedia. I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sorry you got sucked into such a personal dispute. I believe the policy that Thrindel (talk · contribs) was trying to point you towards with regards to your CAD postings is WP:BLP. I do hope you will come back to wikipedia sometime in the future. -Noca2plus (talk) 06:01, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RE: your email

[edit]

I've replied to your email.

Can I also point out, that whilst people reverting your edits may appear to be constructive censorship, it is in fact being done for the benefit of the community. A lot of reverts are done by bots, too, so may not always be down to a real entity. Regards, CycloneNimrodTalk? 06:29, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your welcome and thanks for your edits

Sorry about me coming off as arrogant and unapproachable on my page (I actually do that stuff on purpose; I think it's hilarious) but I'm glad you saw through that guise. Sorry to see you going. Good luck with life and what not. Blizzard Beast $ODIN$ 21:30, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I appreciate that and good luck. Blizzard Beast $ODIN$ 17:12, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Ken Owens

[edit]

I think you got the wrong user or so I think. Did you intend to message me afterall? Well, unsourced material can be removed. It depends how strict a certain user is and if it is likely to be referenced at all. If more lenient, other users would wait months before supposedly "referenciable" material can finally be sourced and add a nosources tag {{unreferenced}} to that page. Also, since it's a biography on a person, information that is likely to be questioned (especially something negative inducing) must be sourced. I can't seem to find anything on him either, just other people with the name. I'm not that interested with the subject anyway but that's what I know. −₪ÇɨгcaғucɨҲ₪ kaiden 20:52, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sepultura's "Arise"

[edit]

The Arise (album) article is now listed as a good article. Thought you should know. Musicaindustrial (talk) 11:35, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bay Area Thrash isn't the only metal movement in USA

[edit]

Bay area thrash wasn't the only movement in USA, dude. Are we forgetting the NY/NJ movement (hardcore-heavy metal, e.g. SOD, Bad Brains, Madball, Cro-Mags etc.), the later southern movement inspired by NY/NJ hardcore-heavy metal (Groove Metal, e.g. Pantera, Exhorder, Pissing Razors, etc) the Florida thrash/later evolved into Death Metal with bands like Cannibal Corpse, Six Feet Under, etc. etc.) Its not just limited to the Bay area, man. It was all over the U.S.DarrelClemmons (talk) 02:08, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: New Wave of Scandinavian Metal

[edit]

I agree with what both you and DarrelClemmons have said. If NWOAHM ever gets put up for deletion I hope I can count on you to say your piece there. I totally agree that if there was an American metal movement it was in the eighties. But it was never called the "New Wave of American Heavy Metal" anyways. It's ridiculous. The guy making that page has no idea what he's talking about. I wish someone would just go and delete that page...FOREVER. Blizzard Beast $ODIN$ 18:29, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK, will do, thanks again for your insight. Blizzard Beast $ODIN$ 22:26, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
