User talk:Jacknaudi/Joseph Haslag
This is my first proposed submission to Wikipedia, and I need help making sure I've done it properly. I've read a lot about sourcing, but I'm not quite sure where I'm supposed to list them. I also have a COI, because I am a public relations who does work for the subject. However, I think I've kept this balanced. As a frequent Wikipedia user, I'm extremely sensitive to its purpose. I am sensitive to not doing original research, which is why I excluded the birthdate of the subject. I cannot fine a reputable source for that information. - for the birthdate, if you can find it on an official posted CV or university page, that's sufficient for routine facts like that. You should add, using such a source: 1/ where and when he got each of his degrees. 2/all published books, in formal citation format, with ISBN , year, and publisher 3/his 3 or 4 most cited peer reviewd papers and the total count of them.(just the peer reviewed)--you can get the citations best from WebofScience or Scopus. 4/any awards from outside the university, --with references from 3rd party sources.
As general guides, see our FAQ (on businesses and other organisations), which applies here in good part, and WP:PROF, our standards for researchers. If you need help, ask on my talk page. DGG (talk) 00:36, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
