The Dark Knight Rises, The Dark Knight and their box office rankins
[edit]Hi. I came here to clarify the reason for my edits. It was at this discussion that we arrived at a consensus that the current position in the ranking of highest-grossing films isn't exactly relevant, given that the number will keep dropping over time and, as they currently stand, at the 30th and 36th position, respectively, it is barely of any importance. Instead, the relevant number is what we call the "peak position", which is the ranking at which the films were at the time of their release. The presence of this information at The Dark Knight was even used as an example in that discussion I mentioned above, and I thought it had already been removed. All good. I only do occasional edits, and had wondered about whether the current position was relevant. We both had the same objective - to increase clarity - and the entry reflects that. All the best. 89.19.79.2 (talk) 21:18, 9 August 2020 (UTC)
