removing content
[edit]Please refrain from removing content from Wikipedia, as you did to Wikipedia:Requests_for_page_protection#Current_requests_for_protection. It is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. check this, it's rather outrageous. --tickle me 06:09, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
i am trying to stop a vandal barkleyparamus who is continually violating NPOV, 3 edit rule and posting defamatory and slanderous info on subject Omar Amanat
- I have checked the user of which you speak User:Barkleyparamus, and it appears he's been
blocked from editing Wikipedia already, so I think that solves your problem.User hasn't been blocked yet, but up to test-4 vandalism warning. =) –- kungming·2 | (Talk·Contact) 16:02, 24 August 2006 (UTC)- Also, please do not place block notices on other users' talk pages - only administrators can do that. Further more, when placing vandalism warnings, start from a basic warning and only place higher level warnings if the vandalising still does not stop. –- kungming·2 | (Talk·Contact) 16:16, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
Minor edits
[edit]Please do not claim your edits are "minor" when they involve changes of content that are in any way contentious. An edit is only minor if there should never be any need to debate the difference it makes to content. In other words other editors reviewing the changes to the page should be able to ignore minor edits. Charles Matthews (talk) 08:43, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
No problem, I re-added the stub template. For future reference, you could always have added it yourself - it's not hard, you just have to put {{US-business-bio-stub}} at the bottom of the article. Happy editing! Robofish (talk) 03:02, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
fyi
[edit]here i thought you might be confusing ease of access (a lack of "click-ability") with verifiability. Jesanj (talk) 00:45, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
Seriousness of referencing
[edit]I think you are very unwise to disregard the emphasis placed on reliable sources at Omar Amanat, under the BLP policy. It is not the case that "any old reference" will do. You should take care to add references in response to requests that meet the specific point raised. Charles Matthews (talk) 17:10, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for helping and pointing this out. I was not aware that the United Nations site would count towards being affliated but it makes sense. I have added a Smart Money and Oprah references for those citations. I hope they are better references.
