Headings
[edit]I see that you have been changing heading levels in lots of articles. I don't mean to discourage you from doing so, but it might be worth having a look at Wikipedia's style guide for headings before continuing in this endeavor. In particular, the standard heading style specifies that all headings should be nested, with top-level headings first. Regards, Lambtron (talk) 21:18, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
- My bad! I see that you are doing the right thing -- nevermind! Lambtron (talk) 21:23, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
- Yep, I was correcting articles listed in Wikipedia:WikiProject Check Wikipedia. Just forgot to take corrected ones out from the list, but I guess it will fix itself at next update. J Hazard (talk) 00:18, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Stony Rapids Airport
[edit]I notice you contributed a photo of Stony Rapids Airport. The associated article says that the runway is gravel, but I think it's been paved for awhile. Refer: http://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/mediaroom/releases-nat-1996-96_h016e-1909.htm
That ref only describes planned work, not whether it was completed, or when. The satellite view on Google Maps[1] looks like it is paved. Can you comment?

- I have been up there couple of times and atleast year ago on my last trip to Stony, runway was definetly paved. I didn't look it that closely, but I believe it was asphalt. J Hazard (talk) 19:41, 17 September 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Wikipedia 15 in Winnipeg
[edit]Wikipedia is celebrating its 15th birthday on January 15, 2016. I have thought for a while that it would be neat to meet some local wikipedians. According to the wikipedians in Winnipeg or Wikipedians in Manitoba category you are one of us. I am contacting people in this category to say: Let's celebrate this milestone. If you know other wikipedians, please ask them to join in as well.
I am posting this to your talk page as a transclude so that any updates will show up automatically.
Hope to see you there! Tenbergen (talk) 04:46, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
One other Winnipeg Wikipedian showed up, in addition to a number of regular skullspace members. It was nice to actually talk to someone else who has worked with Mediawiki and actually "gets" transclusion. Cake was eaten! Tenbergen (talk) 06:37, 16 January 2016 (UTC)
- Aw, apparently I haven't logged in to Wikipedia in over 6 years and I totally missed this message and the event! I guessed I missed any 20 year celebration, too. Let me know if you end up doing a 25 year one. :) Clayton Rumley (talk) 22:52, 2 March 2023 (UTC)
