Thoughts on the new Vector 2022 theme backlash
[edit]Original Title: Thoughts on people disliking the new Vector 2022 look on Wikipedia and other MediaWiki sites
Recently I’ve seen some people hated the new Vector 2022 look that was implemented as the default a few days ago. They bashed it like it was made out of people that only cared about themselves. So, now what? People really don’t like change these days…
My opinions on the matter, but to me it’s just like how what the Windows 11 situation is by some (especially when it first released in 2021). Most people bashed the operating system just because it looks bad, while others liked it. Same thing with the new font that Discord introduced for its client software, which caused some backlash to most people, but others didn’t mind as much.
It’s probably going to be another round of changes that may drive people crazy and go mad about it, but I’m not too worried about that.

Media player (2022)
[edit]The part about Groove Music/Media Player (2022) in the Windows Media Player article hopes that you can help update Groove Music is not exclusive to Windows 10. Windows 11 was also built in and was replaced by Media Player (2022) after 2022. And 2023 At that time, Media Player (2022) has also replaced Groove Music in Windows 10. I hope you can help rewrite part of the description in the Windows Media Player article that mentions Groove Music/Media Player (2022). Groove Music was also included in Windows 11. Should the beginning of the article be adjusted? 2401:E180:8D00:D95F:5FA7:6E58:B433:6201 (talk) 14:14, 11 April 2023 (UTC)

The file File:Windows 98 Boot screen.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Boot screen capture in violation of Microsoft's terms
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Philroc (talk) 01:41, 7 November 2023 (UTC)

List of Intel Core processors
[edit]Hi JWiki2151, thank you for your additions to that page!
I just thought I'd let you know that what's happening at this moment in time is that I'm actually in the process of completing the merge of CPU models from the i3, i5, i7, i9 articles into the 'list of Intel Core' article, as well as presenting them in the new table layout (link to merge discussion). Those separate i3/i5/i7 etc list articles are actually going to get turned into redirects to this 'List of Core' page soon once complete.
Since the page has gotten a bit long after the merge, and since Intel changed up their naming system with the 2024 Raptor Lake / Meteor Lake series, I'm probably gonna take advantage of the situation and start a split request to put the core i-series models into a new "List of Intel Core i3/i5/i7/i9 processors" combined page, as well as start a new page called "List of Intel Core and Core Ultra 3/5/7/9" processors or similar for all the new and upcoming processors to go in. I also notice a new series called "Intel Processor" has replaced the Celeron and Pentium brands, so I'm probably gonna put those under a new "List of Intel Processor processors" page as well (got any better ideas for the title of that page? lol).
So yeah. Just letting you know about some upcoming major changes to these list articles since you've contributed a lot to them recently. — AP 499D25 (talk) 11:18, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
