All of our work is ongoingly visible in "recent changes" under navigation. I noted you had been editing and still had no discussion page, thus you merited a welcome. Hope you don't mind. Just trying to build a better community. Kukini 06:24, 2 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My appologies

[edit]

I thought I was doing the right thing trying to clear out the personal attacks from the NLP talk page. It seems to have backfired because the sockpuppets have come out of the woodwork. I've reported the personal attacks and vandalism to Wikipedia:Administrator_intervention_against_vandalism#Alerts. best regards, --Comaze 08:23, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Frogs

[edit]

Hey Comaze, have you read "Frogs Into Princes"? If so do you feel each of the change tools work? jVirus 08:33, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, There are some who says that Frogs contains brilliant language patterns and metaphors presented in Frogs, and that whether it works or not is fully dependant on your ability to be totally congruent in the application of the patterns. Most trainers say that proficiency requires rehersal and dedication. Charles Figley (Florida State University Traumatology) uses VK/D (Bandler & Grinder 1979) for treatment of trauma in workshops, so according to him yes it works and is show promise for clinical applicatioin. Other NLP trainers will say that more experience practitioners of NLP who apply it in their lives and business on a daily basis continually hone their skills. I know many practitioners who ellicit similar responses from their clients as Bandler and Grinder would have done in the early days of NLP when Frogs from recorded and transcribed. It seems that the skeptics here disagree with Figley and being very selective with the sources used to support their position. --Comaze 08:51, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Comaze : I dont know how all this arbitration or whatever is going on really works or is processing or the process or whatever, but it just might be a good idea if you did not make changes other than grammar without consulting the whole. Ask, talk, convince, and hopefully others will do the same. If they do it without the consent of the whole then they will be the one that everyone will get annoyed with. You are a great editor and I would hate to see you banned or whatever they do to people that are attracting similar flack. jVirus 08:46, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Don't worry -- removing personal attacks is within wikipedia policy. It's just the retaliation that was not expected. [..snip..] --Comaze 09:12, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I got a little caught up with that revert war... I think the best thing for me to do is to wait until after arbcom votes. Keep up the good work. You're message came to me at the right time. --Comaze 11:13, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dear JVirus, May I remind you to avoid getting into personal attacks, avoid responding to or acknowledging all forms of personal attacks. The best strategy against attention seeking troll is to ignore them. Unfortunately the Wikipedia mediation is not very consistent at the moment and Arbcom is hardly effective. Please feel free to remove all personal attacks. So it will be up to you to maintain harmonious online collaboration. --Dejakitty 17:30, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey man, I'll write up a short overview of my position for the NLP discussion tomorrow. I needed to take a few days wiki break to destress :) --Comaze 12:06, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sig customizing

[edit]

It is in your "my preferences" link up top, and its called "Nickname:" in the "user profile" tab. Put what you want there using standard Wiki or HTMM code and it should work a charm. - RoyBoy 800 21:28, 4 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thankyou for your contributions to the NLP page discussion. Hope to see you stick around :) --Comaze 04:57, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good to see you're back :) In answer to your question about modeling. A successful modeling project was an essential part of my NLP training an assessment. It involved spending time learning directly from the genius person in a "modeling state" until I could perform the desired skill in a similar context with a similar set of results. I'm hoping my experience has not blinded my editing. I've been asked to write in a descriptive tone. --Comaze 01:13, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
We were required to be able to demonstrate that we could do the skill first. The explication (coding) was secondary. Some of the students used video recording. Some people chose really simple skills to model. Send me an email if you wish to discuss this. --Comaze 14:41, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
