Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion
[edit]Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. Wallyfromdilbert (talk) 04:19, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
- The edit war you are engaged in at E. J. Levy is unacceptable. You need to discuss your desired changes at the article's talk page and get consensus for the change before you make it. —C.Fred (talk) 04:34, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
- I have no desire to be engaged in an edit war C.Fred, but I do want to correct obvious and intentional misinformation posted repeatedly by Wallyfromdilbert on page about E.J. Levy; Wallyfromdilbert has reverted to obviously unfactual statements that contradict citations (for example, number of books published). Posting malicious misinformation to defame a subject should be stopped; that's not an edit war, it is malicious misinformation. Please investigate this! C.Fred (talk)
How can one temporarily lock a page to stop a malicious edit war?
[edit]Misinformation is being repeatedly introduced by Wallyfromdilbert to the page about E.J. Levy; the malicious misinformation has been repeatedly reverted to, despite obvious inaccuracies (eg, number of published books, content of unpublished book, etc). How can this be stopped? Is there a lock or other means for protesting malicious, demonstrably inaccurate edits by Wallyfromdilbert? Thank you JMB2019 (talk) 05:23, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
