AfC notification: Draft:Christina Lane has a new comment

[edit]
I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Christina Lane. Thanks! S0091 (talk) 17:05, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi JLP121, see the comments I left on the draft. In addition, you have documented what she has done but that's what not is not purpose of an encyclopedia article. That is what a personal website does. What you need to do is summarize what secondary have written about what she has done. There is should really be no reason to cite her own work so for everything you write, the question to ask yourself is "according to whom?". The answer should be a secondary source (ex. a critic, journalist, another academic, etc). If not, then it probably should not be included. You might also find Your first article helpful. Hi, thank you for your comments! I have started working on applying the revision notes already but still have work to do to focus more on secondary sources. I appreciate the feedback and extra linked resource. JLP121 (talk) 21:56, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your first article

[edit]

Hi there, JLP121, and thank you for creating Christina Lane. Now that various improvements have been made, I though it was suitable for mainspace. If you intend to write more articles about women, you might like to join WikiProject Women in Red where we are trying to improve coverage of women on Wikipedia. You can sign up under "New registrations" on Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/New members. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 16:19, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
