I found this article well thought out and well organized. There is some repetition regarding the origins of mitosomes from mitochondria and I understand there are a limited number of ways to portray that this is probable. The part that tripped me up was your two examples. Anaerobic or microaerophilic organisms do not have fully developed mitochondria. Does this mean they evolved from fully developed mitochondria? co-evolved but stopped at a point? DFM021 (talk) 02:21, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
