[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but we cannot accept what we term "original research". I note that you removed a genre from Tool (band) with an indication that "i dont think that art rock fits them so im taking art rock out." While we may not agree with such material ourselves, what matters is the sources in the article that indicate it is so. In this case, there are three sources for the term given in the body of the article. However, if you feel that these sources are insufficient to warrant inclusion of the label in the box, you may wish to explain your reasons at Talk:Tool (band). As a featured article, that one is heavily monitored, and plenty of interested contributors should be ready to consider your ideas. Thank you. Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:17, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Bush (band). Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. 猛禽22 •• 21:09, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 01:37, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Sixteen Stone, you will be blocked from editing. 猛禽22 •• 01:41, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
- Maybe they play grunge, in fact, I want to remove the grunge genre because I don't believe Bush are grunge, but we're keeping it in along with post-grunge just to keep it neutral. They are one of the first post-grunge bands. Don't touch it and leave it as it is, you're not being neutral about it.--猛禽22 •• 01:44, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
- Maybe before you make any further edits, try to get familiar with WP:MUSTARD and other related articles. This will get you familiar with the manual of style.--猛禽22 •• 05:08, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
