When raising bents (4 total), what is the appropriate way to put the ridge beam(s) in place with a full tenon an outside bent and offset tenons in the middle two bents. The footings of the bents have tenons morticed into the sill beam, can they (or should they) be champhered to slide in and allow for play to spread the bents to insert the ridge beams? or should the ridge beams be raised already attached to one of the bents? thank you so much for any feedback on this issue as it is the first structure of this type that I have installed.
