Hello IvoryTower. Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed you've spent some time editing the Harry M. Rubin page. As you likely saw, before you deleted the entire Talk page, this page was the subject of much controversy a number of years ago. As a result and given your edits, I have taken the liberty of putting the Talk page back, so others can benefit from prior discussions. Please take a look at the page. I have started a conversation regarding some of your edits, the basis of which I cannot correctly source. For example, you edited the page to include Rubin's service on his co-op board, but the source you provide (StreetEasy), doesn't actually support this service. You describe him as "President of the Board and Head Officer". StreetEasy doesn't support him as president or "Head Officer". I'm not actually certain what the latter title is. If you could provide us with a copy of the buildings Articles of Incorporation of its by-laws, that might clear it up. More broadly, I'm not certain his service as co-op board president is even noteworthy. The fact that the poor guy agreed to take a completely thankless job probably isn't of much interest to people (just my opinion). Perhaps you can source some of his troubles in that role, like "what's the appropriate temperature to keep the building's gym at?", "do we really need a new roof?", "Ugh... it's enough with these darned assessments" and "why isn't Manny, the elevator operator, smiling enough?".
In any event, let's continue the discussion on the article's Talk page. Rubin is an important figure in the history of the entertainment business, one of the most significant, and I'd love to improve the article with your help. Again, welcome to Wikipedia!!! Hello Button boy. I've actually provided several sources for many of the statements you've noted above. It could be useful for you to take a course at your local community college (given your academic standards), which teaches you the basics of reading citations. It will teach you useful skills for your career as a Wikipedia editor, especially given your focus on living people with higher and more prestigious degrees than you. Not everyone can be accepted into Stanford and Harvard, button boy. Furthermore, the talk page was archived - I will happily re-archive it for you. I understand you struggle with learning new things, but after nearly a decade on Wikipedia I'm going to have to start holding you to a new and higher standard. Lastly, I'm not sure you can comment on what "status" the president of a Park Avenue board confers to a human being given you can't afford the kind of lifestyle which allows an individual to even qualify for that position. I will humor you though - I think the fact an individual can afford a nine million dollar apartment in New York's most affluent zip code on New York's most affluent avenue gives a pretty decent idea of what his level of wealth is. Further, you're essentially arguing that taking a leading position on a board unrelated to one's profession (whether that be a charity, school, etc.) is a "thankless" position. Oh sweetheart, that kind of nihilism is probably what led you to editing Wikipedia articles about living people! How weary, stale, flat, and unprofitable this world must seem to you, button boy! The president of the board of a Park Avenue building is a prestigious position. I also agree that Mr. Rubin was one of the most significant video game executives of the early 21st century! I think the point of the global revert, is that you used, perhaps unintentionally, multiple edits to create a "fog of war", which made it difficult to fact check each and every change. I have absolutely no vitriol towards you, Button boy. How can I hate someone I just met? You seem to have vitriol towards Rubin (have you read your previous edits on this page? YIKES) You're engaging in highly unethical behavior by trying to "reveal" my identity to the public - even if that means classifying me as a "friend or colleague" of Harry Rubin. I have the right to remain anonymous on Wikipedia. For that reason I am making an emphatic request to Skype with you (ID provided above) so that you have absolutely zero justification for your above claims. Whoever you are, you have an unusual fascination with the subject of this article and you seem intent on using it as a forum to bolster his reputation. It is my opinion, that if you are not the subject himself, then you are related or otherwise close to him. Frankly, if I am correct, then at least your bias makes sense. If I am wrong, then your obsession with then man is inexplicable. Either way, I don't really care. What I do care about, is a strong article, based on objective, reputable sources, which outlines the man's life in a fair and balanced way. In a way that avoids hyperbole, puffery, and flattery. I'm sure Rubin is a nice, decent guy, who has obviously been successful. Let's write a Wiki page that respects his contributions, while simultaneously respecting Wiki standards of impartiality. Phrases like "revenue soared" don't help the cause (which I note, you did delete, thank you).
