licensing Standard Oil image for Documentary
Hi there IvoShandor - I'm a producer helping out with visual acquisitions for a new documentary. We would like to use your image called "File:Standard Oil Gasoline Station5.JPG". Unfortunately, since we have licensed other 3rd party material, we are unable to do a GNU license. Are you open to providing permissions for us to use this image in our doc? Pls let me know if you'd like to get more details. I can be found at rivkahbeth at hotmail {dot} com. thanks for your attention and great photo!Rivkahbeth (talk) 00:00, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

Mentioned in discussion
You may wish to comment in a discussion in which you were mentioned at WT:NRHP#Comment on Straw Polls, "decisions" and consensus. Thanks. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 14:16, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
I found your comments convincing, and moved the article back to the title it had until this week. Reasons have been posted in the record of the move. Thanks. Bigturtle (talk) 17:41, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
DYK for Starved Rock Lock and Dam
On 26 June 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Starved Rock Lock and Dam, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the two chief engineers who worked on the Starved Rock Lock and Dam also worked together on the Panama Canal Locks? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
