The article Frederick Mathesius has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- no assertion of notability
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. RJFJR (talk) 21:23, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

Wow, that was a surprise. Thanks! HuskyHuskie (talk) 02:50, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
Gross insubordination toward wikicode
I'm going to bring you up at ANI for this comment. This is not acceptable, and I'm going to ask Jimmy Wales to personally whip you. Drmies (talk) 21:39, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
- I fully support the beating of Wikicode into submission. It is the only way it'll learn... --Jeremy (blah blah • I did it!) 22:16, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
- You guys are more than awesome!IvoShandor (talk) 22:30, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

- I deserve a trouting, I should have noticed that. In my defense, the time stamp shows it was 3:40 in the morning. --Muhandes (talk) 08:28, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
- No worries. IvoShandor (talk) 18:57, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
Frederick Mathesius
Can you tell me in what way you feel Frederick Mathesius asserts notability? RJFJR (talk) 00:09, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
- He was a senior partner in a notable firm, the article has a source and others can be found. It certainly doesn't qualify for a prod. Like I said, you can take it to AFD, I really don't care, and it won't bother me at all. But it should be done right. IvoShandor (talk) 05:12, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

Barnstars aren't seen as much as they used to be; but let me blow the dust off an old one for your work on Piscasaw Creek. Bigturtle (talk) 02:54, 28 January 2011 (UTC) |
Thanks
Thanks for the heads up - I have added it to my watch list and semi-protected it for now. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 03:39, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
- Quick reply - I tried {{Clear}} and adding a </div>, neither of which worked. My guess is that the random Ghostbusters quote or one of the other templates at the top may be the problem. I will try removing all then add them right back. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 17:45, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
- OK, the problem is the Ghostbusters quote template - not sure why. Maybe Jeremy43 can look at it? Sometimes the developers tweak the Wikicode and stuff that used to work has bugs. I also think Ebert is amazingly great. More later, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 17:49, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
DYK for South Branch Kishwaukee River
On 31 January 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article South Branch Kishwaukee River, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that part of the bed of South Branch Kishwaukee River in Illinois was the plain of an ancient lake? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
