[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the external links you added to the page Briana Banks do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. edgarde 23:39, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Cytherea (porn star). Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Thank you. edgarde 23:59, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
Re: Regarding eonsex
[edit]Please don't be removing eonsex links because it is an genuine site, not affiliated and without pay content. We're merely an index of free-pornographic content. Our crawlers operate similarly to Google. Appreciated.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Ivko (talk • contribs) 00:02, 20 May 2007
- Sites with porn images about x are not ipso facto informative or authoritative about x, so "pornography indexers" are not suitable external links.
- Your links appear to be promotional in nature. Wikipedia is not a tool to increase your Googlerank.
- Please do not restore. Also, please read WP:COI about linking your site. / edgarde 00:10, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Briana Banks. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. edgarde 00:16, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Peter North (pornographic actor), you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing anyone from linking to them from any site that uses the MediaWiki spam blacklist, which includes all of Wikimedia and Wikipedia. Redirect of Kamal ravikant
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Kamal ravikant, by Mschel, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Kamal ravikant is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Kamal ravikant, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Kamal ravikant itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 00:25, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
