[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Mu'tasim Division has been reverted.
Your edit here to Mu'tasim Division was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://twitter.com/AlmotacemBrigad) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. IvanSidorenkoSG, you are invited to the Teahouse!
[edit]Hi IvanSidorenkoSG! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. We hope to see you there!

Hi there,
Thank you for your edit to this article; however the change has been reverted.
The figure given was taken from the cited article; the updated figure you give no longer matches that reference, and no source was given for it.
If you can provide a reliable, updated source (i.e. not the website itself), please do so when updating the figure. (Please see Citing sources if you're unfamiliar with how to do this).
You should also update the "as of" date, as the figure will almost certainly be out of date as soon as it's published.
All the best, Ubcule (talk) 21:34, 12 January 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop movng population from templates to infoboxes. This increases the amount of work to update the population data by the factor of three.--Ymblanter (talk) 17:54, 27 April 2021 (UTC)

ISKP is not part of ISIL
[edit]Can you add the description "self-proclaimed" before the word "branch" in the lead of ISKP article? And remove the item "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" in the parameter "part of" in the box? It's a 3rd party source and claim that doesn't provide any evidence for their links. ISIL doesn't comfirm that ISKP is part of ISIL, and even denied it. 1.55.171.129 (talk) 17:20, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
- Can you provide me a reliable source claiming that Khorasan Province is not considered part of IS? The official announcement of the 2021 Kabul airport attack came directly from IS's official "propaganda"/news outlet, Amaq Agency, and reports are published from Khorasan Province on IS networks just as they are from any other province. But if you can show me some sources proving Khorasan Province is not considered part of IS, I may reconsider. IvanSidorenkoSG (talk) 06:43, 30 August 2021 (UTC)
- The IS news outlet publish news about ISKP, it doesn't claim that ISKP is part of them, it's because they are allies, not part of each other. You ask me to provide reliable source while you yourself don't provide any for the opposing claim, as said, the current source you provide is 3rd party claim and provide no evidence. 1.55.171.129 (talk) 09:44, 30 August 2021 (UTC)
- Don't get upset about me asking you to provide reliable sources; that is literally how Wikipedia works lol. A "third-party" source (BBC News) looks a hell of a lot better than no source at all. I'm not the one providing this BBC source in particular, but I see no problems with what it is being used for.
- What do you think "Islamic State Khorasan Province" implies, if not being part of the Islamic State? It just seems logical to me, wouldn't some other word besides province be used if the link was weaker than that of other "provinces" such as Sinai, West Africa, and Iraq?
- I'll ask you again, is there anything at all you can show me to prove this is the case? You say IS denied that ISKP was part of it, can you direct me to where that was said? IvanSidorenkoSG (talk) 19:45, 30 August 2021 (UTC)
Removal of maps
[edit]Hello, I recently saw that you have been removing some maps from modern conflict articles including the 2018 Southern Syria offensive for being inadequately cited. I wanted to let you know that some Twitter accounts, including Suriyak were agreed to be used as a reference in Syrian civil war articles a long time ago, discussions regarding these can be found in Talk:Syrian civil war archives, thank you. 95.8.172.206 (talk) 18:15, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
- @95.8.172.206:
- Greetings.
- I have searched through the entire talk page that you mentioned and that Twitter account was not mentioned once in 50+ pages of archives.
- But if a consensus was actually reached in such blatant violation of our policy on reliable sources, the very backbone of Wikipedia, higher authorities need to be made aware of that because it is wholly unacceptable. The map of the war of Afghanistan was taken down for less.

Removal of maps - Tigray War
[edit]Hey there, I noticed that you have been making edits on the Tigray War page by removing the maps, claiming that it’s being cited by some Twitter accounts. I want you to know that there’s verifiable sources of the map not just from Twitter, but sources like CNN. You’ve also done this to a previous page, the 2018 Southern Syria offensive. Are you trolling, or what? 75.168.212.13 (talk) 21:13, 4 November 2021 (UTC)
- @75.168.212.13:
- Greetings. You are incorrect. I am not claiming the map has been cited by some Twitter accounts. That would be irrelevant.
- I am claiming that the map cites some Twitter accounts, and some Twitter accounts only.
- And I'm not really "making any claims" about this because it's taken directly from the file's description.
- "All credit goes to Ethiopia Map's (https://twitter.com/MapEthiopia) and Oromia Conflict Updates' (https://twitter.com/OromiaWarUpdate) work."
- There are no verifiable sources mentioned in the file description or in the descriptions of any of edits, so I have no idea why you brought up CNN... are you trolling?
