Hi guys, I've just updated the logo for you. Same link and everything, just changed it to the new image. Hope this is what you wanted! Keep up the great work, I'm loving what Odd Child have been putting out. --ItsLuke (contribs) 16:59, 31 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No worries! Glad I could help. To get Etta's image to stay up, apparently you'll need to send a "declaration of consent" to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org. They've got a template up here where you can just copy it and fill in the gaps, as long as you can prove that you're the copyright holders. :) --ItsLuke (contribs) 17:08, 31 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I claimed the other pic as "fair use" because it's a logo and it's fairly low-resolution. For proper photos of people, though, you need to provide email permission from the copyright holder before the photo can be used. I don't know much about this tbh, I'm just a student and an Etta Bond fan who occasionally contributes to Wikipedia! --ItsLuke (contribs) 17:24, 31 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
No problem! Yeah sure, I'll do that now :) --ItsLuke (contribs) 15:48, 16 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Itslondonmusic. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. People with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, see the conflict of interest guideline and frequently asked questions for organizations. In particular, please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, its competitors, or projects and products you or they are involved with;
  • instead, propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.

Information icon As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, such as the edit you made to Odd Child Recordings. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Itslondonmusic, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Itslondonmusic|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. -- Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 19:41, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Odd Child Recordings, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Avelino. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
