Speedy deletion nomination of Red Artist Management
[edit]A tag has been placed on Red Artist Management requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. [edit]I know that you've gotten several warnings about using Wikipedia to promote yourself since I last looked in, but you've continued doing it. Therefore, I have briefly blocked you from editing, because it doesn't seem that there's any other way to persuade you to stop. While you're blocked, you should review some of Wikipedia's rules and decide whether you are interested in volunteering to help write an encyclopedia. If you are, you're welcome to help here. But if your goal is to advertise your company, Wikipedia is not a place where you can do that. Thank you. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 01:03, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
how do other companies get away with it. and bands? I've seen bands who make a wiki page and they get away with it.(Itskyleharris (talk) 02:37, 24 April 2010 (UTC))
- Yes, it's a big job keeping up with them. If you want to help remove inappropriate articles from Wikipedia, that would be a lot more helpful than creating more of them. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 03:00, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
ok, i understand. so if i have someone else create the page it wont be self promotion?
- If you ask someone else to create a page about you on Wikipedia, you are still promoting yourself. As far as I can tell, Wikipedia doesn't need an article about you. If you want a page about you on the internet, you should create a web site of your own. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 09:44, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
