Your info about the Libro d'Oro (private publication) published in Italy

[edit]

Excuse me, but I am a regular contributor to Italian wikipedia, under another name, about historical, genealogical, heraldic subject.

You wrote:
"I'm afraid, if you are not in the Libro d'Oro, you are bogus and Wikipedia is poweless to change that - so pack it in
and also
"the Libro d'Oro is definitive because that is the only accredited source. It may not be as inclusive as some nobles would wish, but it's the only way to prevent fake nobles"
Could you answer the question above posted by "A curious reader"?

Could you tell me the source of this (for me) wrong info?
I think that this your information is just wrong. Thanks.
Please remember also that the edit war in the last weeks isn't "Libro d'Oro" (private) vs "Annuario della Nobiltà" but Larastabata/Marimimbambito/others sockpuppets vs "Annuario della Nobiltà", the only publication that (evidently) had refused to publish him and his ducal pretension on a genealogical/peerage directory here in Italy. I have put the same question on GiacomoReturned talk (the Risker's talk page is semi-protected and I'm unable to post it a message) --ItalyShallPrevail (talk) 23:20, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
