User talk:Issovia
Welcome!
Hello, Issovia, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!
Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia. If you feel the link should be added to the article please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thanks. --kingboyk 15:30, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Yes, you posted on the correct page to reach me, but we add new subjects to the bottom of talk pages not the top (if you're starting a new topic on a talk page you can use the "+" tab next to the "edit this page" tab which will automatically create a new topic at the bottom). Also, please sign your messages on talk pages (but not articles) by typing ~~~~ at the end of your last sentence or by clicking the signature button in the toolbar (3rd from right on my toolbar).
With regards to your deleted contribution, as a new user you posted links to the same website to 4 different articles. That smells like spam. Of course it might not be spam, but since you have no track record here - you're a new account - I think it's quite reasonable for me to remove them. Note that we really don't need more external links (Wikipedia is not a link repository) what we need is improved articles! Please see the note above about this.
If in fact you don't have any connection with the website and you are adamant that it is a tremendously high quality resource, just propose its inclusion on the article's talk page. Hope that helps. --kingboyk 13:21, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
