A tag has been placed on Category:Paralympic goalballball players by country requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and it is not presently under discussion at Categories for discussion, or at disambiguation categories.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

Margalit Peretz moved to draftspace

[edit]

Information icon An article you recently created, Margalit Peretz, is not suitable as written to remain published. An article needs more information and citations from reliable, independent sources to remain in the mainspace. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline, has suitable content and thus is ready for mainspace, click the Submit the draft for review! button atop the article. ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:42, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yehu Adani moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Yehu Adani. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Mattdaviesfsic (talk) 02:13, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:Tombah per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Tombah. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Request reason:

I don't understand this action. I am not connected to anyone and my only focus is on paralympic games with no connection to others and no edits in the community. This block damages cover of the paralympics. IsraPara2 (talk) 18:56, 26 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Confirmed sockpuppetry, as clear as they come. Yamla (talk) 12:50, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

If any CU disagrees with my evaluation of the technical evidence, feel free to unblock, but before you do that, take a look at the notes I left in cuwiki. RoySmith (talk) 19:40, 26 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I don't understand. puppet for what? The list of inappropriate uses is for people that try to influence and not relevant to me: *Creating an illusion of support - I don't vote or discuss. *Strawman socks - I don't vote or discuss. *Circumventing blocks, bans or sanctions - I was never blocked. *Contributing to the same page or discussion with multiple accounts- How can I do this if I only create articles on the paralympic games. *Avoiding scrutiny - How can I do this if I only create articles on the paralympic games? *"Good hand" and "bad hand" accounts - I only improve ane create articles. *Role accounts - I am a regular user. *Deceptively seeking positions of community trust - I don't vote or discuss. I only improve ane create articles. *Using more than one administrator account - I am a regular user. *Posing as a neutral or uninvolved commentator - I don't vote or discuss. I don't understand what I have to do with other users if I am the only contributor to most of the articles I work on? IsraPara2 (talk) 20:11, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action, or you have not responded to questions raised during that time. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 18:51, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • The CU data is irrefutable that IsraPara2, שקולניק, and Wierzba are all controlled by the same person. The only reason I didn't block these accounts immediately upon discovering this is that these account go back a long time (in one case, 18 years) and accounts with that long history get the benefit of the doubt. But when I came back and looked again, I couldn't come up with any plausible scenario for the data I was seeing other than that these accounts are all one person. Are you denying that? RoySmith (talk) 22:44, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know Tombah or שקולניק. I know well user wierzba and maybe you link the same connection for both users from one device but it's not the same user. Also our edits have nothing to do with each other to cause any influence. It's what you see on Template:User_shared_IP_address IsraPara2 (talk) 20:08, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Anyone looking at this? IsraPara2 (talk) 14:26, 21 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

My use of the checkuser tool confirms the technical evidence against you is strong. This is not outweighed by your denial. PhilKnight (talk) 09:42, 25 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

At this point, your best chance of editing again would be to follow WP:OFFER and make no more unblock requests and avoiding sockpuppet accounts for at least six months. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 15:08, 21 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

But no one is looking at my request and it was "Procedural decline only". I said it's a user shared computer and I said we have nothing in common as editors and don't edit the same articles. User Wierzba is not even very active. I need to wait for what? IsraPara2 (talk) 20:01, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That doesn't mean that nobody looked at your request. That only means that nobody was convinced by it. The "user shared computer" explanation only came about well after your story was clearly inconsistent with the evidence. I gave you advice on your best chance to edit again; whether or not you accept that advice or not is your decision. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 22:44, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'll just add that in addition to the log data showing a connection between you and Wierzba, it shows a similar connection to שקולניק. If you're going to stick to "I don't know who that is", I'm having trouble buying it. I suspect there is a story here which you would rather not discuss in public, and I'm not asking you to do so. But you may wish to contact arbcom and discuss the matter with them in greater confidence that I can offer. If you can convince them that everything is good, they'll unblock you, or give me the go-ahead to do so. RoySmith (talk) 23:00, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The first time you said user tombah and I don't know who it is. After that I needed to understand what you mean by sockpuppet becuase I assume the meaning was with bad intention. I found the list for inappropriate uses and answered why I have nothing inappropriate with other users. Only later I started to read more pages and found the shared computer information. You reply to me like every user is supposed to understand what a sockpuppet mean. I am just learning this and it takes time. I think when there is 100% no bad intention from the user and if i make good edits it is more appropriate to contact and explain things before making a block.
