Proposed deletion of Bearing-from-coordinates formula

The article Bearing-from-coordinates formula has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This unsourced article seems to be a simple application of trigonometric functions to navigation, in the specific case that angles are measured in grads instead of the usual degrees. This does not appear to be notable.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Gauss' area formula

Your article Gauss' area formula has a very nice picture and example, but it should really have been included as an addition to Shoelace formula, with the name "Gauss' area formula" redirecting to that page.
