Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Isaacnymy. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. S0091 (talk) 21:27, 22 December 2022 (UTC)

[edit] An article you recently created, Nymy Media 2, is not suitable as written to remain published. An article needs more information and citations from reliable, independent sources to remain in the mainspace. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline, has suitable content and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Thanks. Please submit your article through WP:AfC instead of publishing to mainspace when you have a WP:COI. Silikonz💬 16:59, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
Declaring COI
[edit]Hello. If you are being paid by Nymy Media
to your contributions of Wikipedia, please disclose them now per the instructions at Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure. This is required by the WMF terms of use. Also avoid creating articles directly in the namespace. Try to run them through the WP:AfC process so that they can be reviewed for promotional material. Thanks. Silikonz💬 17:13, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
- Hello, Isaac. Please note that this is required - you appear to be creating quite a few articles closely related to your employer. Silikonz💬 13:33, 4 February 2023 (UTC)

- Hello JJMC89,
- I am writing to request that my editor account on Wikipedia be unblocked. My account was blocked for advertising or self-promoting in violation of the conflict of interest and notability guidelines, and I understand that this is a serious violation of Wikipedia's policies.
- I want to assure you that I did not intend to violate Wikipedia's policies and that I take these policies very seriously. I understand that Wikipedia is a community-driven platform and that my actions could have a negative impact on the platform and its users.
- In hindsight, I can see that my actions were not in line with Wikipedia's policies, and I deeply regret any harm that they may have caused. I have reviewed Wikipedia's conflict of interest and notability guidelines and I am committed to following them in the future.
- If it is possible, I would appreciate the opportunity to make amends and continue to contribute to Wikipedia. I understand that the decision to unblock my account is ultimately up to the discretion of the Wikipedia Support Team, and I respect their decision either way.
- Thank you for taking the time to review my request. I appreciate your consideration and I look forward to hearing back from you soon. Isaacnymy (talk) 18:38, 15 February 2023 (UTC)
