Regarding this edit, no that's not why he's listed as a free agent. Yes his career is most likely over, and will be for sure if he's convicted, but it's not officially over yet. Aaron Hernandez was facing a murder charge and we still kept him listed as a free agent until he was convicted. A large reason for this is for legal reasons. When accused of a crime, you are presumed innocent until proven guilty. If we change player's pages who are facing serious criminal charges, it gives the impression we are assuming guilt, which we cannot do.--Rockchalk717 22:41, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
