It looks like Reed's, Inc. is pretty much o.k. now except for references, which I will be plugging in now. I had some questions on the Categories. I don't really understand how to categorize correctly. I want the company to be under Soft Drinks. The article is a stub I believe, so that is o.k. I'm just concerned about people searching for it and not finding it under obvious Categories.

Also, it looks like Reed's Ginger Brew got deleted?

{{helpme}}

I had a reference section on the page. I can't figure out how to setup the superscript to the reference section. Instead of deleting my reference section it would be helpful if an editor could make the change. All the requests for 'citing' in the third paragraph have links to the websites of the organizations giving the awards, so not sure why this has to be cited again?

There are lots of ways to do this, some are simple, some more complex.

Personally, I like using citation templates, and fill in as much as I possibly can; maybe a bit more work, but I think it looks better. You have a <REF> at the start, then a suitable cite tag, then </REF>. An example usage is;

<ref>
{{Citation
 | last = Preston
 | first = Peter
 | title = D. H. Lawrence in the modern world
 | last2 = Hoare
 | first2 = Peter
 | author2-link =
 | publication-date = 1989
 | edition = illustrated
 | place = [[Cambridge]], [England]
 | publisher = [[Cambridge University Press]]
 | page = 125
 | isbn = 0-521-37169-4
 | url = http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=J5nRoaOwkPMC&printsec=frontcover#PPA125,M1
 | accessdate = 2008-05-11
}}
</ref>

For all the possible things to include, see Template:Citation

Of course, you don't have to put everything in, just whatever you can. The above example is a book, but I've included a 'convenience link' to a website that displays it.

Then, at the end of the document (but before any 'category' tags), you need a references section. You just put,

== References ==

{{reflist}}

I hope this makes sense; the best thing is to experiment in your own area (e.g. user:Irthcomm/test), and also to look at other articles and copy from them (especially featured articles, which should have good refs).

Hope this makes sense, cheers,--  Chzz  ►  20:40, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Chzz,

I appreciate the help. Take a look now and see if this is more in line with what is expected? I hope so! Much of this information is provided by the company, the rest is from Associations, etc. It's not really straightforward citing like in a book. Is this therefore acceptable?

Irthcomm (talk) 20:55, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There is an issue with the references 5-9 in the article. They do not support the sentences they are associated with. For example, #5 is associated with,"Reed's Spiced Apple Brew has won the "Outstanding Beverage Finalist" at the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade." However, the reference does not point to anything indicating they won an award. It only points to the home page. Please replace the references with correct URLs or replace the [citation needed] tags. Thanks... ttonyb1 (talk) 21:01, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, thanks.. working on it, please bear with me everyone. Irthcomm (talk) 21:06, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. Duplicated Links - I have again removed the duplicated links form the article. For some reason you keep insisting they be re-entered on the article. How come? BTW - If I can be of any help, please let me know. Thanks... ttonyb1 (talk) 21:09, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
