Image copyright problem with Image:Panorama-WembleyStadium-2007.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Panorama-WembleyStadium-2007.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Unspecified source for Image:Wembley-Stadium-comparison-Old-and-New.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Wembley-Stadium-comparison-Old-and-New.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:03, 7 April 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ⁿɡ͡b Nick Boalch\talk 19:03, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:M40 J1&1a Crop.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:M40 J1&1a Crop.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 14:01, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Merton Bridge proximity 1.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Merton Bridge proximity 1.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:16, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
Banbury platform diagram
[edit]Thanks for uploading the diagram of platforms at Banbury. I don't know Banbury myself, so I used your diagram to describe the layout of the platform, having platform 4 as the bay. However someone has altered my text so the bay is platform 1, and now doesn't correspond to the diagram. Do you know which is correct? Thanks --Mfarrow6483 (talk) 19:31, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
Image tagging for Image:Chiltern Class165026 West Ruislip.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Chiltern Class165026 West Ruislip.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it. We requires this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

Copyright problems with Image:Aylesbury Vale Parkway railway station mockup.png
[edit]An image that you uploaded, Image:Aylesbury Vale Parkway railway station mockup.png, has been listed at Wikipedia:Copyright problems because it is a suspected copyright violation. Speedy deletion of Template:Buckingham Railway Line
[edit]A tag has been placed on Template:Buckingham Railway Line requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Banbury Merton Street
[edit]I've picked up where you left off on the Merton Street article and noticed that you put what seems to have been a useful diagram on the article but which has been now deleted. It would be really useful if you could reupload this. Also, there seems to be a question mark over the distance between the two Banbury stations which has resulted in a confusing tag being slapped on the article, I think it should be 350 metres, but it would be good if you could confirm this. Thanks. Lamberhurst (talk) 17:47, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
Better source request for Image:Chiltern train at Marylebone.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Chiltern train at Marylebone.jpg. You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talkpage. Thank you. —Bkell (talk) 14:13, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
Image permission problem with Image:WestRuislipstation.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:WestRuislipstation.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the image (or other media file) agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the image to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the image has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the image's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Images lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Copyright problems with File:KingsSuttonstation.jpg
[edit]Hello. Concerning your contribution, File:KingsSuttonstation.jpg, please note that Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text or images obtained from other web sites or printed material, without the permission of the author(s). This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://railwaystations.fpic.co.uk/p2396492.html. As a copyright violation, File:KingsSuttonstation.jpg appears to qualify for deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. File:KingsSuttonstation.jpg has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.
If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License (CC-BY-SA) then you should do one of the following:
- If you have permission from the author, leave a message explaining the details at File talk:KingsSuttonstation.jpg and send an email with the message to permissions-enwikimedia.org. See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
- If a note on the original website states that it is licensed under the CC-BY-SA license, leave a note at File talk:KingsSuttonstation.jpg with a link to where we can find that note.
- If you hold the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the CC-BY-SA and GFDL, and note that you have done so on File talk:KingsSuttonstation.jpg.
However, for textual content, you may simply consider rewriting the content in your own words. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Thank you. Hertzsprung (talk) 22:34, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
Problem with File:BanburyStationfrombridge.jpg

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The file File:Marylebone station location map.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Orphaned, unlikely to be useful.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ~ Rob13Talk 21:20, 8 October 2017 (UTC)
