Whitman AFB

[edit]

A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Whitman AFB, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Citing sources

[edit]

Hold on there partner!

RE: Your contributions to James Garner, please format sources correctly.

Learning to format your references; add author if available, title, original source, date, publication, hosting site if applicable, etc.

How to cite sources:

Wikipedia:Citing sources and also Wikipedia:Citing sources/example style

SEE: Wikipedia:Guide to writing better articles (This is a good one!)

Also, use CREDIBLE sources, nndb.com is NOT considered a good source. Do you have others that are better?

Please and thank you...

Titles

[edit]

Book, album, movie, TV show, titles are Italicized not put quotes.

Proper names

[edit]

Peoples names, like David Halberstam, Republican, and Groucho Marx should almost NEVER be put in quotes.

I think I'll have to revert your entire edit until you can learn to do it properly.

Example Book

[edit]

EXAMPLE.[1]

James Garner

[edit]

You need to write in an encyclopedic manner, i.e.: "Unlike many celebrities," is NOT, it is editorial opinion, right or not.

Also, use CREDIBLE sources, nndb.com is NOT considered a good source. Do you have others that are better?

Carry on,

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is List of fatalities from aviation incidents. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of fatalities from aviation incidents. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:07, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Cabo Wabo, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Añejo (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of fatalities from aviation accidents may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. I have reverted your addition of an unsourced date of birth to Michele Marsh (actress). In addition to Wikipedia's basic principle of citing sources (Wikipedia:Citing sources), a special need for citations applies with regard to elements of a biography of a living person (WP:BLPPRIVACY). Feel free to add a date of birth when it is accompanied by a citation to a reliable, published, non-primary source. Eddie Blick (talk) 19:40, 14 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I was in the process of citing it when you reverted it. Ironass (talk) 20:07, 14 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
