Guten Morgen. Weißt du eine andere Quelle für den Hörspielpreis von Klaus Ebner? Beim Re-Assessment wird beanstandet, dass manche Quellen für die Preise (d.h. Stipendien und Hörspielpreis) nur Ebners Website ist. --Torsten Wittmann (Karlsruhe) (talk) 08:54, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Reassessment
[edit]Hi, Irina, no worries about contacting me on my talk page; I understand the frustration that you and the other editors are going through, but I don't think you have much to worry about from an individual reassessment. Yes, any editor reserves the right to waltz onto a random article that has been promoted to GA-status, and question said status. However, they must look at the article from the point of view of the criteria, and then judge whether or not the article should remain GA. Most of the time these articles have deteriorated greatly since they were last promoted, and the past contributors (for whatever reason) are not able to address major concerns. If that's the case, the article is usually delisted. However, when it comes to Ebner's article, I don't think this will happen as long as everyone keeps their cool and sticks to what makes a Good Article in the first place. I think you guys are handling it well, but remember that the editor who has initiated the review is new to the process, as are each of you, of course. I've added some information about reliable sources to the bottom of the review, so please take a look and see if that makes sense. I'll keep my eye on the page for further developments. - Glad you brought up the thesis conundrum! I almost asked about the wording on the talk page, but I didn't want to detract from the reassessment discussion. :) "Thesis" is sort of a broad term in the US; although it typically refers to a paper written in order to obtain a doctoral degree (also called dissertation), there can also be theses for those completing their master's or bachelor's, depending on the program. Perhaps we can use the foreign technical term ("Diplomarbeit" since it was for an Austrian institution, correct?) and then add the English equivalent -- master's thesis/dissertation -- just to clarify that he did not receive a doctorate. - Looks great, I just made a small fix. María (habla conmigo) 18:33, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
Since it's an individual reassessment, technically only the reviewer has the power to deem whether the article can be kept or delisted from GA. However, I feel they would be going strongly against consensus and the criteria were they to delist it. I've left a note on their talk page. María (habla conmigo) 18:42, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
- I've asked for input here. María (habla conmigo) 20:58, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
Going GA with Hominid (novel)
[edit]Hallo. Ich möchte den Hominiden in der englischen Wikipedia gern auf GA-Level heben. Hilfst du mit? --Torsten Wittmann (Karlsruhe) (talk) 10:54, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
