Hi! It's me from over at irrealis mood. I'm curious, what's the rationale for the grammar edits you're making? Botterweg14 (talk) 23:03, 11 August 2020 (UTC) @Botterweg14: I second this question. Iralwynn, could you discuss your issues on the talk page before making the same revisions over and over? Zhen Zhen (talk) 02:56, 12 August 2020 (UTC)
Irrealis mood.
[edit]You can have a desirable wish, but this doesn't make the verb present tense. It has the same tense as the irreal wish. e.g.: I wished I went there. You cannot change. It is neither present nor past, it is conjuctive II, which is also used in conditional clause. The same as the expressions of feelings and what is on mind. e.g.: I think she love me. < It is possible, but it is not given for sure. Iralwynn (talk) 13:58, 15 August 2020 (UTC)
- Is this also the case in other languages? It's very interesting that the "irrealis" structure would show up in the main clause (i.e. on an attitude verb like "wish"), not just in the complement clause. Botterweg14 (talk) 17:39, 15 August 2020 (UTC)
The main clause shows it up as an indicator for the irrealis mood, like the subjonctif in French, except that English hasn't an own conjugation for it. Or other: the wish itself is irreal. Iralwynn (talk) 18:25, 15 August 2020 (UTC)

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If the block is a CheckUser or Oversight block, was made by the Arbitration Committee or to enforce an arbitration decision (arbitration enforcement), or is unsuitable for public discussion, you should appeal to the Arbitration Committee.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
