Ok, Thank you so much to help me for using Wikipedia. Investigation11111 (talk) 20:11, 4 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Nizameddin Isgenderov requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://mechmath.bsu.edu.az/en/content/nizameddin_isgenderov_552. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:04, 5 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your edit to Windham, Connecticut. I reverted your edit because most of the links you made were not correct. For example, you added a link to Scotland, when in fact the link should have been made to Scotland. This can be avoided by using the "show preview" and then testing your links. Thank you. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Djemaa Beni Habibi has been reverted.
Your edit here to Djemaa Beni Habibi was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://afalaz.wordpress.com/2009/01/24/djemaa-beni-habibi-wilaya-de-jijel-algerie/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Hi and thanks for your additions to Danielle Bleitrach. I wanted to give you a head's up that, per MOS:DUPLINK, intra-Wikipedia links are generally only used the first time a term is mentioned in an article. Not a strict rule, but for the sake of avoiding clutter, they should only be added again if there's a strong reason (for instance, in an infobox, as a reader may read that independent of the entry's prose and thus not see a link in the body of the entry), rather than linking at every opportunity. Hope that's helpful; happy editing! Innisfree987 (talk) 00:44, 10 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

[edit]

Hello, Investigation11111. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

German villages in Azerbaijan

[edit]

Your article seems to be covering the same material as Caucasus Germans and History of Germans in Russia, Ukraine and the Soviet Union, in parallel to Volga Germans and Volga German Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. I think you'd be better to stick to the topic in the title, German villages in Azerbaijan rather than replicating other articles.

A few other points I noticed:

  • In 1941, after the World War, Germans living in the former USSR - 1941 was during World War II not after, and at that time the USSR wasn't former.
  • preserved in our capital - it's not my capital, nor the capital of most people who will read the article.
  • You also have a number of problems in your verb tenses - for example, 23133 Germans had lived in Azerbaijan should be were living unless you're counting all the Germans from 1816 to 1939. Hope that helps, Cabayi (talk) 14:03, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Cabayi, Thank you very much for reading my article attentively and inform me about the mistakes. I made minor corrections taking into consideration your advice. There are several articles like this on wikipedia. I created this article to show these villages as concrete places. For example, in article about France information was given about its economy, history, culture etc but also there are separate pages on each of these topics. Therefore i think my article should not be deleted. Investigation11111 (talk) 07:54, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

jpgordon I am sorry for this rude mistake. Please read my explanation fully. Because I am very interested in working on Wikipedia and feel so bad I have been blocked. I aimed to create a "see also" section for all US presidents’ articles. It was too late to delete my mistakes when I understood that I have mistaken, and other editor already removed all of them. However, I could delete 2 of them myself. I did not do it with the purpose of vandalism. If you take a look at my contributions and talk page you can see that even I don't have any warning about breaking Wikipedia rules. I have nearly 700 edits. I accept that my mistake was very gross technical mistake made by my unawareness about U.S. and I apologize for that. Additionally, I do not have any provocation or some negative opinion about U.S.Presidents. Additionally I want to note that I am a Wikipedia user for 5 months and I know the rules well enough. I know that this is not possible to give any idea without any reliable sources. There is no information or claims about the president of Gerald Ford in List of Presidents of the United States who owned slaves. This is simply my technical mistake. I found the article List of Vice Presidents of the United States by time in office in Wikipedia and I thought that I could add this article with its “See also” section to each president's article as a category. I mean in this way:

You can see if you take a look at my contribution section. My first edit starts with Daniel D. Tompkins and I added above-mentioned 3 pages untill article of George H. W. Bush president. If you look at article of George H. W. Bush president, you will see that there is List of Presidents of the United States, sortable by previous experience existed in see also section. After I pasted 3 pages, it looked like below:

Then starting from article of George H. W. Bush president till article of the Martin Van Buren president , I began to paste 4 pages in each article. These 3 following pages already existed before my edit in Martin Van Buren:

And after this article, when I was adding “see also” to other alternative pages, I copied all of 6 page names from article about Martin Van Buren. That is why I pasted automatically 6 pages in the following articles. Such as:

But I was deleting the existing links every time while I was pasting. But after doing editings I realized my mistake and immediately started to delete them and saw somebody else already removed. Please consider my mistake as very rude mistake and I kindly ask you to unblock me as I explained above that edit was a mistake. Request reason:

I am sorry for this rude mistake. I aimed to create a "see also" section for all US presidents’ articles. The thing is when I copied “see also” section (which I added ) from one president's article to another, the category of "List of Presidents of the United States who owned slaves" was also copied automatically and unintentionally. I didn’t type it, it was just copy mistake. If you look at my contribution section, you can see that I deleted 2nd edit (Hubert Humphrey ‎, Alben W. Barkley ) when I understood my mistake. But when I wanted to delete that edit mistake from "Gerald Ford" page I saw other editor already removed it. I did not do it for the purpose of vandalism. If you take a look at my contributions and talk page you can see that even I don't have any warning about breaking Wikipedia rules. I have nearly 700 edits. I kindly ask you to unblock me as I explained above that edit was a mistake. Hereinafter, certainly I will be more careful. Investigation11111 (talk) 08:15, 18 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

This doesn't ring true to me. For example, this edit and this one and this one are different. This isn't a case where you copied the links and simply pasted them into a bunch of places without checking. I can't see any explanation apart from you wanting to deliberately claim these presidents owned slaves. Now, maybe you have an explanation, something to explain how you could accidentally make that claim without this just being a pasting error. If so, you are welcome to request another unblock and a different admin will review your case. Yamla (talk) 12:57, 18 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. You are welcome to request another unblock. My decline was based on not being able to understand how you could possibly make the mistake you made. But, I want to be clear, the key point was not understanding. I definitely grant that you could indeed have been acting in good faith, it's just that we really need a compelling explanation before unblocking, in a case like this. Your explanation here may indeed be sufficiently convincing now, so I suggest you request an unblock and have another admin review your case. :) --Yamla (talk) 12:07, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Investigation11111, just want to ask why you changed the pseudo headings to proper headings. When you do that, you make the table of contents box at the head of the article longer, without adding functionality. (On a simple article four out of six items in the contents box may simply be the "Citations..." headings.) Is there anything an editor can do with the new headings that they couldn't do before? If not, what's the gain that compensates for the aesthetic loss? Cheers, Acad Ronin (talk) 12:38, 26 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, 5 manat, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Individual denominations

[edit]

I have redirected 5 manat, 1 manat, and 10 manat to Manat. I will be improving Turkmenistani manat in the following days and aim for a potential GA. I request that you salvage all the information and do the same for Azerbaijani manat.

A reader is far better served by a singular article for the currency than articles for each domination. Except if the indivudual denominations have an illustrations history and cannot be easily accommodated at the parent article. TrangaBellam (talk) 19:47, 17 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article 100 manat has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Duplicates content at both Turkmen_manat#Banknotes and Azerbaijani_manat#Banknotes_3 so neither is an appropriate redirect target. Rather odd to combine unrelated banknotes in one article like this.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 22 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
