Thanks for adding the spec for the GT3 and keeping my picture. I was hoping someone would do that for me. If only other wikipedians were as polite as youself.Mariegriffiths 23:50, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

RE:Alex Ferguson
[edit]Why did you remove the Sir from the Alex Ferguson article? He is a Knight Bachelor and should be addressed as Sir. Please do not revert edits that are not vandalism, without discussion/explanation. See WP:BRD. Regards. Woody (talk) 21:37, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- Well, actually it is correct per the Wikipedia:Manual of Style, specifically WP:HONORIFIC. It would be incorrect to have the article title at Sir Alex Ferguson, however as inline text, it is correct. The CBE means Commander of the British Empire (CBE) and does not confer a Knighthood. That would be a Knight Commander of the British Empire (KBE) which is different to Knight Bachelor. See the Knight Bachelor article for more details. It actually specifically mentions Sir Alex Ferguson within the text. Regards. Woody (talk) 21:52, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- No problem, always happy to clarify and discuss edits. As a sidenote, remember to sign your talkpage edits with 4 tildes. (~~~~) It just leaves a timestamp and your "signature". Regards. Woody (talk) 22:00, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
