[edit]Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Internexus English Language School. If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page. Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Internexus Los Angeles. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Internexus English Language School, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Victor Schmidt (talk) 16:26, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
Please unblock me or remove Internexus from Wikipedia
[edit]Hi guys,
New Wikipedia user here. I happened to come across an entry for Internexus English Language School on wikipedia that redirected to Regents University.
I am the manager of Internexus Los Angeles.
Was jsut trying to update with accurate info but apparently that crossed s line into advertising? Sorry about that.
Also re: Administrator note: This edit also appears to constitute at least an implied threat of legal action, that will also need to be addressed if you wish to be unblocked. Beeblebrox (talk) 16:28, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
Surely that's a bit of a stretch? Since there is so much 'content that violates any copyrights will be deleted' that it would be helpful to let the editors know that Internexus is tradmarked to us and should not redirect to an unrelated entity.
In any event, if we cannot list info about our schools, at least can you please delete the page that makes it appear that our network of schools is Regent University?
Thanks Grant Elliott aka Internexus Los Angeles
- How to properly appeal the block is explained in the block notice. As to your other concern, it does appear valid and I've nominated the redirect for discussion by the community to decide what to do with it. Beeblebrox (talk) 16:58, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

OK, all I was inetnding to do was to correct a misleading page by inputting accurate info. I see now that this is seen as advertising. Fair enough, can I ask that the Internexus English Language School page be taken down?'

Got it.
There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. Additionally, If you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must disclose who is paying you to edit. If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. Really the only think I'd like to achieve is for a Wikipedia page Internexus English Language School (us) not redirect to Regents University (not us)
Managing a conflict of interest
Information icon Hello, Internexus Los Angeles. Decline reason:
Please replace the text "Your proposed new username" above with your choice of new username. 331dot (talk) 17:26, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
You state that you are the manager of the school; are you not paid for holding that position? 331dot (talk) 17:28, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
- Manager of Internexus LA is my title. I am a principle shareholder in a corporation that co-owns Interglobal LLC dba Internexus Los Angeles. I am not currently being compensated by the school, although I clearly have an interest in it.
- If that is true, I think you still need to comply with WP:PAID(you don't have to be specifically paid to contribute, nor do you have to be paid by the school itself), but leaving that aside for the moment, it seems as if your issue is being resolved. You've indicated that was your principal reason for being here, if you aren't going to make any other contributions to Wikipedia, there is no reason to unblock you. If you indeed don't wish to make any other contributions, I would suggest withdrawing your unblock request. If you do wish to make other contributions, please propose a new username as I've instructed and tell what those contributions will be. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 19:13, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
