Competence with English

[edit]

Hi there. I have noticed that your English is poor and is barely understandable. I would recommend editing Wikipedia in your native language (if English isn't your native language) whilst improving your English skills, before returning. Thanks, Willbb234Talk (please {{ping}} me in replies) 17:21, 15 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Kamerfer Kadın, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Willbb234Talk (please {{ping}} me in replies) 19:26, 17 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Fatma Sultan (daughter of Ibrahim), you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Willbb234Talk (please {{ping}} me in replies) 10:42, 19 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Full citations

[edit]

Hi! When you give short footnotes with {{sfn}}, you also need to give the full title of the work below. Who is Davis and who is Pierce in the article Emine Sultan (daughter of Ahmed III)? You can also just use <ref></ref> tags to give the full citation inline. – Thjarkur (talk) 17:33, 24 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Internetexpert, what sources are you using and what is the full title of the works you are citing? Please make sure that your current articles have full citations before making new articles like Şehzade Osman. – Thjarkur (talk) 14:21, 2 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Again, could you add the title of the work you are citing to your new aricle Şehzade Hasan? I could find Uluçay's full title and have added it, but couldn't find the other work. – Thjarkur (talk) 00:36, 11 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Murad I, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Manuel II (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:43, 7 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
