Between reposting deleted material and trying to repost it via a sockpuppet, you are skating on thin ice. You are welcome to contribute in a positive manner, but if you continue to create inappropriate articles or sockpuppet accounts, your edit privileges will be revoked. - Lucky 6.9 06:50, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
How to tag alternate IDs
[edit]Dear Insineratehymn, thank you for "fessing up to [your] sockpuppets".
Points for honesty!
If I may suggest a further improvement....
The "sockpuppet" template is used when someone else suspects an ID is a sockpuppet. To show that your own alternate IDs belong to you, it's better to do this:
- Login under each ID to edit that ID's user and talk pages. This shows that the editing is not vandalism by some other person falsely claiming sockpuppetry.
- Make each secondary ID's user page a redirect to your primary user page, for instance #REDIRECT [
[User:Insineratehymn]] . - Do likewise for each secondary ID's talk page, for instance #REDIRECT [
[User talk:Insineratehymn]] . - If the secondary ID uses a different email address from your primary ID, edit your secondary ID's preferences to put your primary's email address there instead, so all email to any ID will go to the same address.
- Login as your primary ID and edit that ID's user and talk pages to list all your alternate IDs at the top, for instance also: CampKidney; Fatalism, lol; Gokonozo; Imheadingtothepark; ScoutMasterLumpas. (This will show that the alternate IDs are not falsely claiming to be you.)
I presume you are no longer intending to use those secondary IDs at all, but this way anyone coming across an old edit and wanting to ask you about it will be redirected to your primary ID. This will save you having to monitor all those separate talk pages and email accounts.
If you ever do use any of those secondary IDs after this, just please make sure it's not to edit, comment, or vote on the same pages, so you're not "doubling up". It's legitimate to have an alternate ID for an unrelated topic, if you have the need.
Thank you for coming clean. – SAJordan talkcontribs 11:34, 10 Dec 2006 (UTC).
Apology accepted
[edit]Hey. Thank you for your apology, which I accept. You seem to be on the right track now. Keep it up and happy editing! Prolog 03:23, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
Dear Ethan, of course I accept your apology and forgive you, as you might have guessed I would from my previous post here. You already "came clean" and owned up to your other IDs over half a month ago, and from that it was clear that you'd had a change of heart. I'm delighted to know that all the energy and ingenuity you'd put into your previous activities will now help Wikipedia keep growing better. I look forward to your having a long career of contributing to the project, and I suspect you'll provide some very interesting viewpoints. That's often the case with reformed rulebreakers: the urge to "break out of the box", shake things up, do things differently, see from all angles, and think laterally, is an expression of a deep need to be creative... and once that gets put to serious work, it can change the world. Go at it! And thanks for writing! – SAJordan talkcontribs 06:21, 28 Dec 2006 (UTC).
Wikipedia Community AfD
[edit]You may want to look at the current version of the article and consider revising your opinion since the current version has multiple reliable sources including a note about a notable award the community has recieved. Also note that nothing in WP:SELF prohibits an article on a Wikipedia related topic that is well sourced with verifiable content. That's how we can have Wikipedia and Jimbo Wales among other articles. Thanks JoshuaZ 02:32, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

- You keep coming back to Uncyclopedia using sockpuppets and causing trouble. --Insineratehymn(talk • contribs) 18:55, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
I just hate being given credit for other people's work. It's just that simple. Below is the list of all of my uncyclopedia sockpuppets.
- User: Big Boss 0 - Hell yeah! My first account!
- User: Big Boss 1 - My first Uncyc sockpuppet.
- User: Solidus Snake 2.1 - My second sockpuppet.
- User: Big Boss 8 - What a jump but this one's mine too.
- User: The Real People's Champion Big Boss 0 - Just here to leave this message.
- User: King Big Boss 0 - Remove impersonators as my sockpuppets.
One thing that you'll learn from me is that I will gloat over any sockpuppet that I create and flaunt the fact that I have created it. Big Boss 0 19:01, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
- Listen, since you started coming to Uncyclopedia, you've caused nothing but trouble there. If you have nothing to contribute, don't go Uncyclopedia at all. --Insineratehymn(talk • contribs) 20:12, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
Quickly, make a secret subpage on my Uncyclopedia talk! I've got no time to explain! I am the new user. |

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite
[edit]Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 09:06, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
