April 2020

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Diamond Blizzard. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Voyages of Christopher Columbus seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Diamond Blizzard talk 05:48, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I'll try to be more neutral in what I write. Insert bad pun here (talk) 19:44, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Australo-Melanesian, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Batek (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:57, 25 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Obsolete "Caucasoid", "Europid"

[edit]

I totally concur that the terms "Caucasoid" and "Europid" are obsolete. Still, I reverted your edit at Caucasian race, because the term "Caucasian race" is obsolete, too. The article is already confusing enough, I just wanted to avoid even more confusion. Rsk6400 (talk) 20:15, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Western Eurasia (page) moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Western Eurasia (page), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ~ Amkgp 05:53, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move

[edit]

I had to remove your request at WP:RM, because you formed it incorrectly and it messed up the formatting of the page. You can't ask for a red link to be created anyway – Western Eurasia redirects to Eurasia because there aren't enough reliable sources to make a separate article necessary. You will need to work on the draft version of the article, as noted above... when it is ready, it can be published, and then the page move can be made if necessary, but not before. At the moment I think Eastern Eurasia should be redirected to Eurasia as well, because it has no sources. Thank you. Richard3120 (talk) 16:16, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about messing up the formatting Insert bad pun here (talk) 18:05, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Proto-Mongoloid, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Native Americans (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).

I second this. There's plenty of valuable contributions you can make. Please don't slip into vandalism. T.Shafee(Evo&Evo)talk 00:31, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Looting, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. -- LuK3 (Talk) 00:35, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Western Eurasia (page)

[edit]

Hello, Insert bad pun here. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Western Eurasia".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 17:43, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
