Speedy deletion of Oier Olazabal

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Oier Olazabal, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a7.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Davidprior 10:11, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

[edit]

Hi! Your recent edits to the Ronaldinho article are in bad form, as the news is properly sourced. I'm not one to spout wikibet soup at people, but there's no reason to keep removing the information. Cheers gaillimhConas tá tú? 18:41, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Eidur Gudjohnsen

[edit]

Hi. The names written in the Current squad are the names the players are registered in respective competitions as. The ones in bold are the names in the jersey. You can keep the original Eiður Guðjohnsen, but the visible one should be Eidur Gudjohnsen, the Gudjohnsen being in bold. This is how he is registered as. Changing it to Icelandic spelling breaches the essence of the section. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bardhylius (talkcontribs) 12:26, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Samuel Eto'o

[edit]

Hi, I was just wondering whether you've seen the references I sourced had previously sourced on the Samuel Eto'o article; here they are: [1] and [2] - the fact that it has been officially announced on PFC Kuruvchi's website seems to me that he does not play for Barcelona anymore. Thanks, Sparrowgoose (talk) 04:14, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

When updateing stats in footballers' infoboxes...

[edit]

Please make sure you also fill the "pcupdate" parameter, otherwise it is unclear when the stats were last updated and your edits will most likely be reverted, cheers! BanRay 08:56, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Innuendo1899! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 139 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Shlomi Hanuka - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 06:17, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Shlomi Hanuka has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable player for second tier team

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Gigs (talk) 03:20, 17 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
