- Provide an Edit summary
- Take a look at Consensus of standards. It is always wise to read the talk page of an existing article before making major changes on it. Even then, I typically ask if anyone minds that I make a change. Very often they do! ;-)

Help for you.
[edit]Hey, I noticed your request for help on Deepu's talk page. Here's some help for you.
We need to create a redirect page to get there. When typing in Dalvi, you will notice that there are several different people named Dalvi. Jaywant Dalvi is just one of many. So, rather than redirecting dalvi to go straight to Jaywant Dalvi, you should create a disambiguation page. I took the liberty of creating one for you.
Also, please make sure to sign your posts to talk pages using four tilde's (~~~~). You should also add some categories to your pages. Pepsi2786 04:35, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
- Looks like Pepsi2786 has beaten me to you. ;-) To all that he said, let me add that there is a slight delay in updating the search index as explained here. So, new pages might take a few hours/days to appear in the search results. BTW, nice work with the article. It is coming up well. Cheers, and happy editing! -- thunderboltz(Deepu) 06:56, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
- PS: Dont worry about the sandbox. It gets automatically reverted after some time.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
