Information icon Hi InfiniteSword! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. – Muboshgu (talk) 02:01, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ok thank you! So just to make sure I have this correct, minor edits are only for like typos and stuff that like cannot be argued?
I understand when to apply the minor edit mark, but I'm curious, what's the actual point of marking an edit as minor? Like does it change anything or is it just helpful for other editors? InfiniteSword (talk) 02:05, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, minor edits are just typos or other changes that don't affect the content of the article. These edits don't need to be reviewed by other editors, if the mark is indeed used correctly. – Muboshgu (talk) 15:20, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Do not add names as potential assassins, even on talk pages, without excellent sourcing. Mind WP:BLPCRIME as well. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 02:54, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

hi, this is user:00101984hjw -- I'll let you know when Committee for the Preparation of Korean Independence is draftified. :} -- 00101984hjw (talk) 20:52, 5 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@InfiniteSword - Ik it's been a while since we met in WCNA2024, but I just wanted to let you know that I have created a (very) rough translated draft for the Committee for the Preparation of Korean Independence. As the kowiki is notorious for its lack of citations and content significant effort would be needed to bring it up to a decent article.
As much of the content from the People's Republic of Korea and People's Committee (postwar Korea) articles could be incorporated into the draft as well, both pages would have to be heavily edited to create clear distinctions between the preparatory organization, the sublevel committees that were created by the organization, and the provisional republic which succeeded it.
While I would go on and do what I can, I would greatly appreciate any contributions to the draft. -- 00101984hjw (talk) 01:10, 10 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
