Regarding your image change
[edit]I have reverted your image changes to Patna as having a person's face in the photos for those gestures is unnecessary. Such self-promotion is discouraged on Wikipedia. Images with you, friends or family prominently featured in a way that distracts from the image topic are not recommended for the main namespace. See Wikipedia:Image use policy. If you still believe that the photos are appropriate, please discuss the issue on the relevant article talk pages and gain a consensus on the matter before changing the photos again.
Also, we already have enough pictures on Patna#Tourism. Moreover, that section needs help with text and citation, please help in those area if you want to. Thank you. --Shivam (U-T-C) 09:46, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
With warm regards
[edit]Thank you for the concern for safeguard of Wikipedia principles which I too and do have.This concern must be transparent which is not in my case.Merely a person's face with any type of gesture is not at all unnecessary till the face and gesture is in the prime focus of a photo.In my case, adding to this, the faces of the crowd are out of focus, blurred and unidentifiable, with the prime focus rests on the absolute subject.This proves there is no self promotion at all but the promotion of folks only.Let me clarify the folks in the photo do not, again, do not relate to the photographer. Finally, no definite number of images of a subject or an object can be said to portray it completely.Either one or none! If you still possess any obligation regarding my contribution to the Wikipedia, I welcome it. Avanish Kumar (talk) 17:08, 20 February 2015 (UTC)Indiavanish
- Thank you for your response. Maybe you're right but still I suggest you not to use that image on any of the Wikipedia articles primarily due to 'crowds pose in your picture'. Also, when you say no definite number of images of a subject or an object can be said to portray it completely.Either one or none!..... So true, but by longstanding consensus
- a) the existing number of pictures is considered enough (observing "Wikipedia is not a photo album"); and b) existing images should only be replaced with another if the quality is improved (observing common sense). In my single opinion, the image you added does not improve the article in a significant manner. If you are unhappy with this; then go about forming a fresh consensus, or confirm the existing one. PS. Please don't feel discouraged. Eventually, you might want to read Wikipedia:A primer for newcomers. Regards-- shivam (t) 09:31, 22 February 2015 (UTC)
Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Mor, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.
If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.
You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.
If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.
Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:34, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
Hello, Indiavanish. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Mor".
The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply {{db-afc}}
or {{db-g13}}
code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Mor}}
, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 18:45, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
