Subscribe and contribute to The Signpost

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Please remember to:

  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!

Information icon Hello, I'm The Mirror Cracked. An edit that you recently made to Chennai International Airport seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want to practice editing, please use the sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Information icon Hello, I'm Aaryan33056. I noticed that you recently removed content from List of Ambassadors and High Commissioners of India without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Don't worry about the edit, just check WP:RED for future reference! Aaryan 📬🥰 06:57, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

March 2022

[edit]

Hello, I'm Wiki6995. You told me about Tambaram Municipal Corporation being a page is about the corporation and its administration. I totally agree, and yes, I brought back the infobox (which wasn't created by me) because there is a user Kumuru who keeps reverting the changes to the Tambaram Municipal Corporation despite my attempts to explain, you can check the recent change he has made around 17:15 IST, 5th March 2022. Can you stop him from doing that? I would much rather prefer the Tambaram Municipal Corporation and Tambaram page following the pattern of Chennai City and Greater Chennai Corporation. — Preceding undated comment added 11:57, 5 March 2022 (UTC)

Template:Violence against Dalits in Tamil Nadu

[edit]

Hi Indian8888, thanks for updating the template. I've removed the article links you recently added. There are countless number of incidents of anti Dalit violence and a significant portion of them received media attention for a Wikipedia article. If every incident is added the template will be cluttered and so I have only left the incidents which involved a huge scale of violence. If you are interested, you can create an article about Violence against Dalits in Tamil Nadu and mention about the incident. Regards,SUN EYE 1 09:09, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I Understood 👍 @Suneye1:. Thank you for your suggestion ☺. Indian8888 (talk) 13:59, 3 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
