- Hi @Snowmanonahoe thanks for welcoming me here. Just wondering how to add userboxes to my user page like there are on your page? InLizWeTruss (talk) 00:29, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @Snowmanonahoe I'm wondering how I can request an edit to a protected article. The article for Israeli politician Avigdor Lieberman is missing an important controversy of his; which is his enmity to the Haredim in Israel. I would like to add this section but am unsure how to. InLizWeTruss (talk) 00:26, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
- See Wikipedia:Edit requests. Note that edit requests for substantial content additions usually take a while for someone to review. In this case I would start without using the edit request template, and just bringing it up on the talk page, provide a source or two if you can. Snowmanonahoe (talk) 00:28, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
- How can I become an editor who can edit protected or semi-protected articles InLizWeTruss (talk) 00:29, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
- To edit a semi-protected article, you need an account age of 4 days and 10 edits. To edit extended-confirmed protected articles (like the one you want to edit), you need an account age of 30 days and 500 edits. Snowmanonahoe (talk) 00:31, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks I have left the request in the talk section of Avigdor Liberman article under the subtitle 'anti-Israel views' with three sources; is that the right way of going about this? InLizWeTruss (talk) 00:39, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
- Yeah what you did was good. Small note—whenever you cite sources in a talk page comment, add {{talkref}} to the end of your comment (on a new line after your signature). I have done it for you here. Snowmanonahoe (talk) 00:42, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
- I meant 'anti-Haredi views' InLizWeTruss (talk) 00:40, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
