Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, InCredNitin. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article InCred, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. SorryNotSorry ✽ ✉ 04:05, 23 April 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that in this edit to Incred Finance, you removed all the content without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the page's content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 04:20, 23 April 2017 (UTC)
@Jim1138: I did that, because wikipedia picked wrong title InCred Finance. The content belongs to company called InCred and not InCred Finance. I have subsequently created a page incred and moved the content there. Now I think you have reversed the behaviour and WIki at this point doesn't reflect factual correctness of this article. Can you set the move to Incred and redirect incred finance page to incred which is factually right. Thank youInCredNitin (talk) 04:38, 23 April 2017 (UTC)
Do not do a 'cut and paste' move. It removes the wp:page history which is required for Wikipedia licensing. See wp:moving a page. Jim1138 (talk) 04:22, 23 April 2017 (UTC)
@Jim1138: I get the error on my part. Can you now set up the page other way, i.e set content on incred page and redirect incred finance article to incred. This is right thing and factual information. Thank you. I cant move the page InCredNitin (talk) 04:40, 23 April 2017 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, no. As you made a number of saves on InCred, I'm locked out from moving it. You need to request that an wp:admin delete and move the page. See WP:MOR: If a redirect has more than just one line in the page history but still a minor edit history, file a technical move request at Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests using {{subst:RMassist|current page name|new page name}} (using the format outlined at the page there). (leave out the nowiki stuff) It might take a day or so for an admin to get around to it. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 04:48, 23 April 2017 (UTC)
UnBlock

Request reason:
I was only correcting information about InCred, which is factually right. Also the URL for information InCred is wrongly put as Incred_Finance. Please move the page of InCred_Finance to Incred. Madhabi is no longer on board. This is factually wrong information. I also declared COI while doing this edit
Decline reason:
You are blocked for abusing multiple accounts. You will need to address that. Huon (talk) 02:33, 24 April 2017 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
@Huon:
I don't understand. Where is the multiple account. I have created the account just to correct a factual incorrect information. Can you please help. I have never made any edits to wiki from any other account ever. I did the edit with full disclosure of COI

- See Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Yash Pal Rao/Archive. There's technical evidence connecting this account to those others. I'll also note that you have engaged in attempts at faking history by misstating the titles of your references. Maybe the company isn't named Incred Finance any more, but it certainly was named just that in August 2016. If you try to fake history because it doesn't suit the company's current narrative, Wikipedia is not the place for you. Huon (talk) 04:10, 24 April 2017 (UTC)
@Huon:
I wasn't seriously aware of this. As you know we are finance company and we are called InCred for ever. Media clubbed the two to report InCred Finance. It was small correction. I have never tried to mis-state facts. Please guide, should we follow to correct this or not. Users shouldn't be misguided. That's all I am looking at. As you know I am new to Wiki and attempt was never to misguide anybody. I just didn't know the method of change, a honest mistake. I acknowledge the mistake, but please help me to correct the right information on InCred
InCredNitin (talk) 04:19, 24 April 2017 (UTC)
- So you "weren't seriously aware" that the title of this article is "Mumbai-Based InCred Finance Raises $75 Million"? That's not what you wrote the title of that article is. It gets even seedier: There is no company which was called InCred forever. There is IncredFinance.com, and then there's Incred.com, owned and operated by VISU LEASING AND FINANCE PRIVATE LIMITED. I agree, our readers shouldn't be misguided. Huon (talk) 20:06, 24 April 2017 (UTC)
