Rob Angeles

John Robert "Rob" Angeles (born 12 February 1994) is a Filipino content creator, dancer, and a musical artist. Angeles was born in Malate, Manila, Philippines to a Filipino mother from Pangasinan and Fil-Japanese father from Manila. Angeles has one biological sibling: Jaja. Angeles' parents separated when he was 7, and was under his mother's custody together with his sister. In 2011, Rob's mother passed because of cervical cancer. And his father passed because of cardiac arrest in 2019. After Rob's mother passed, he and his sister lived with their Australian step father then.

Angeles as a kid loves dancing and singing. He started dancing at the age of 5. Angeles was part of cheering squad in elementary and high school. Angeles was the vice president, and Yassi Pressman as president of a dance club in their highschool. Angeles received extra curricular awards since elementary to highschool related to performing arts. In college, Angeles joined Trinity University of Asia's theatre group where he gained experience in acting. Angeles then joined Far Eastern University's FEU Cheering Squad and performed in several half time performances. Angeles is one of the pioneer members of ITHM Pep Squad, an inter institute cheer dancers in FEU. Most notable event where he performed is the grand opening of "Noel Bazaar 2013". Along side from studying, dancing, and being a choreographer, Angeles was already active in showbiz.

Angeles appeared in several infomercials (ASCOF Lagundi, and KFC) and reenactments for TV shows like "Unang Hirit", "Anghelito: Ang Batang Ama", "Good News Kasama si Vicky Morales", "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho", "Pinoy MD". Angeles also tried his luck in "Little Big Star", "Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010" and "StarStruck Season 6" but unable to be on the final lists. In 2017, Angeles joined as a SEEcret songer together with other musical artists like Sephy Francisco, Neo Domingo, and Zandra Duritan in "I Can See Your Voice Season 1" with guest star, Jaya. Angeles was able to make it to the last round and won the episode.

Angeles started his YouTube Channel in 2017. Most of his contents are lifestyle, food, and travel vlogs. In 2020, Angeles gained popularity by being featured in Tube Manila, an in train TV network across metro and mega manila. Angeles' contents were aired together with the vlogs of other popular Filipino content creators like Wil Dasovich, The Chui Show, VoiceOver Flowers, and etc.

Angeles is the Founder of Have Courage Inc. A non government organisation that focuses on mental health awareness and charity works to help youth and elderly. ImpormasyonPilipinas (talk) 10:33, 30 July 2022 (UTC)
