Thanks for you note about the band links on my user page. I fixed them. You have decent taste in music. Any suggestions of bands I should check out (i.e., bands not on my list but similar to the list)? uriah923(talk) 21:33, 18 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Apollo Sunshine

[edit]

Just where, out of curiousity, did you run across apollo sunshine? im a fan, but i was pretty much under the impression that they were a local thing until very recently when they were listed on amazon.coms editors list of "best rock albums of 2005." how'd you find them? --jfg284 you were saying? 00:35, 29 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Indietronic Deletion

[edit]

Since when does a lack of internet presence make something inapplicable? Google is great and all, but there are a ton of bands (among millions of things on this globe) that won't generate search results...does that make them irrelevant also? When I returned to Wikipedia to find The Twilight Lieutenants removed from the genre I thought the decision was based on the fact that it's not ALL we do (yes I'm one half of the project), which is fair. I could agree with that. Now I come to find out you removed us simply because we didn't give you a satisfactory amount of search hits/results. In my opinion that is a very flimsy reason; you're editing Wikipedia based on your own ignorance and that is scary. I'm sure at the time you did it you figured it wasn't a big deal, but for me it carried a certain weight...I was so happy when I found an actual genre label that somewhat fit with what we're doing. It took me awhile to add that paltry link since I'm unfamiliar with Wiki editing. Days later I get to have the wind knocked out of my sails by it's swift removal. I'm not going to add The Twilight Lieutenants to the entry again, because as I mentioned I feel we aren't purely indietronic. BUT your reason for removing us was quite careless. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mychal (talkcontribs) 12:02, March 15, 2006 and was edited very soon after by 168.56.37.8 (talkcontribs)

The Bird Who Continues to Eat the Rabbit's Flower release year

[edit]

Hi there. I noticed you edited the release year of the album from 1999 to 1998. Based on what? I'm not saying it's wrong, because I'm lacking sources myself, but [1] says January 1999, so I've always supposed that's correct. I happened to revert your edit on the Of Montreal page, but not on the album page. :-) JonasRH 00:34, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh shit, I'm really sorry. I completely forgot this matter. :-/ Anyway, that's weird, but I reckon we should trust the official Of Montreal site if we have contradicting information, so I reverted my own edit, and it says 1998 both places now. Although this is no big matter, it would be nice to get to the bottom of it. I'm working on an Of Montreal article on the Norwegian Wikipedia, and I plan on creating a thread on the OM-forum with some questions I need answers to, so I can add that one, and some fans might be able to help us out. Have a nice day or evening or whatever. :-) JonasRH 21:59, 16 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Teenagers

[edit]

Hey! Further to your comments on Talk:The Teenagers I have created a new article for the French Band of the same name at The Teenagers (French band). Have a look and see what you think. I really only created the article because I searched for it and it wasn't there, before creating it I knew relatively little about the band other than having heard a couple of songs by them. If you can help out in any way feel free to edit away :) Peteds (talk) 08:57, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia Editing

[edit]

Oh hey; I just realized that you haven't edited things in a while, so I'm putting things down here right now! Can you believe it! Also, have you seen the new Doctor Strange movie? He's like a magicman or something! Grogbor 14:57, 8 November 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Grogbor (talkcontribs)
