Hi ImageEditor, I noticed that you tagged this image as a copyvio. The source of the image you noted, http://www.dwr.org.uk/dwr.php?id=108, doesn't seem to be right. There is a cap badge on the link you provided, but even with the background removed it doesn't seem to be the same image (looking at the reflections on the metal). Can you be more specific on the source? --Duk 20:01, 21 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

this image has been tagged {{no source}} and will be deleted in seven days unless the source is identified. --Duk 20:15, 21 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

This image has been listed on Wikipedia:Copyright problems. It is a copy, re-creation or derivative work of http://www.sadattheclinic.co.uk/pics/nosey.gif. --Duk 20:47, 22 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Nosey & Derivative

[edit]

Thanks for the info, I'll delete them. If your friend _is_ the valid copyright holder and you want to re-upload the images, we usually ask for an email of confirmation (from the copyright holder) explicitly granting GFDL. I know this is a pain, but it's an extra step usually taken for previously published material that winds up at WP:CP. --Duk 15:52, 23 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:KMCLOGO.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:KMCLOGO.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 19:21, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
