Neutral tone

Hello Illuminana! Thank you for all your work on John Scotus Eriugena. Your contributions are great, although look out for writing with an impassioned tone. If you're new, the neutral tone takes a little getting used to. The relevant guideline is here. I made a change to one section so that you can see what I mean.
