TVXQ members
[edit]Im tired of changing that part, why dont you respect what the court has told? Check the news, remember the court >>>> SME in this one. So please let's keep all in peace and leave it like that until the lawsuit is over — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kittytvxq (talk • contribs) 01:29, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
- The reason why I am firm on this point is because TVXQ gains fans daily by them coming across the work of Yunho and Changmin (such as from their latest KYHD album), and it has been almost a year since they made their comeback as a duo. Therefore people acknowledge that TVXQ is a 2-member band. I myself recognise TVXQ as a duo and not a quintet, because I became a fan of TVXQ when the others had already left.
- SM Entertainment which created the band, promotes TVXQ as a 2-member band, which it has been since last year with only the two present members. This is why I list Yunho and Changmin as under 'Current Members' and put the other three under 'Past Members'. Even if the lawsuit is settled tomorrow, I honestly believe that the three will not return. In the meantime, the work that TVXQ is doing is only by the efforts of Yunho and Changmin. The three are not involved in any way. There is a saying, 'You can't have your cake and eat it too.' Jaejoong, Yoonchun and Junsu should not be labelled TVXQ members (even if they once were) when they aren't involved in anything TVXQ has been doing since the three left in 2010 and have instead been pursuing other things such as their new band JYJ. In all honesty, it is fan sentimentality that is trying to tie them back to TVXQ as it once existed and not as it truly is now.

- But that doesn mean erasing their past because they are not here because they are 2 but because of the work the did as 5. People should know this but also if they like only Yunho and Changmin is ok, without forgetting their past. But not matter if TVXQ is 2 or 3 or wtv the court says and confirms TVXQ is until now 5 members because Jaechunsu are only in a hiatus as TVXQ members. But as group they are 5 until now. LOL then i should be in 2009 dont you think so? Well is not only us but aslo the 5, who have continue saying they are part of TVXQ, past, present future they are ot5. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kittytvxq (talk • contribs) 20:00, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
- Firstly, I'm not 'erasing the past' or belittling the three's contributions to the band in any way. Note that I put them under 'Past Members', which is what they are, since they are in JYJ now. I tried to clarify their position by showing how they are no longer managed by SM Entertainment which created TVXQ, but are under C-JeS Entertainment now; others' revisions were better than mine however (mine was too lengthy in comparison) and all that is covered in JYJ's own wiki page anyway, so it is fair.
- The fact is that Changmin and Yunho stayed and are continuing under the name of TVXQ with singles, album releases, promotions, concerts etc, and it has been almost a year since they restarted their activities, so I see it as only right that they are given that acknowledgement and respect as its current members. I think that is the least any one can do.

- Kittytvxq, please stop. From your name, I'm going to guess that you are a big fan of the group. Maybe you're having trouble accepting that the group split up. I don't know, and frankly, it doesn't matter. What does matter is that for the last several weeks, there have been a number of changes to this page, with only you insisting that TVXQ is currently a quintet despite all evidence to the contrary. The group is a duo, and have been for quite some time. They are releasing music and touring as a duo, and there is no reason to consider the other three as part of the group at this time, lawsuit or not. That is the purpose of having a "Past Members" section. To acknowledge the former members while accurately describing the current status of the group. You seem to believe that the status of the group is ultimately up to the courts. That's silly. The courts will not force them to return to TVXQ to sing and dance and tour and record new music. They're not slaves. The courts are only going to be looking at the penalty for breaking the contract, if any. The editors of this article as a whole have clearly come to a consensus that this is the most accurate way to describe the group. If this continues much longer, you may be reported for edit warring. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mdlion (talk • contribs) 20:36, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
